Owner Action Scuba, owner and boat captain, Brockville Dive Charters
"I've had a love of water activities from a young age and discovered my true calling when I started scuba diving. Since then I haven’t looked back. I love sharing my passion with new and experienced divers of all levels. In addition to teaching I am interested in underwater photography, technical diving, exploring new diving techniques and equipment. Most recently I have been diving a rebreather and exploring the possibilities it can provide. You will find me at the shop helping customers with their diving needs when I am not diving or teaching. Contact me."

Throughout the years I've earned many different certifications; I became an Open Water Scuba Instructor in 2004 at the age of 19, and then spent 2004-2005 working as a dive instructor for Club Med. Since then I've gotten married and now have a wonderful little girl. Between my family and regular day job I still try and get out diving as often as I can or teach for Action Scuba."

Diane Tetrault

"I started diving in 2009 with Action Scuba, expecting to discover a new occasional hobby. Instead, I discovered a new passion and have been underwater ever since! Now, as an instructor and part owner of Action Scuba, I am fortunate enough to be able to spend time with most of our customers and students, and it is really rewarding to see new divers realise their dreams of learning to dive. Most weekends in summer you will find me on the boat helping to run our dive charters in the beautiful 1000 Islands. I also organise most of our events for our diver community and am always open to suggestions! Contact me."

As for diving abroad I've been to the great barrier reef, and many Caribbean islands including primarily Barbados. My favorite dive site is a wreck in Barbados called the Stavronikita at 120' deep."
Élise Petitjean
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor 292818
Since I could first swim, I wanted to become a scuba diver as the underwater world fascinated me. The world of diving is so special that one can’t really appreciate or understand it until they see it for themselves. I’ve been scuba diving now for 10 years and every dive impresses me as though it were my first. Being an instructor with Action Scuba will allow me to share my unique connection with the underwater world with others.
Yda Gough
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
I come from a family of ocean lovers, therefore since very young I’ve been around the ocean; taught to respect it, enjoy it and be thankful for it. Therefore learning to dive and later becoming an instructor was just my natural path to follow. For me it fells like the perfect job as you are able to introduce others to our under water wonders and at the same time be surrounded by so much beauty and peace.
