At Action Scuba, all of our courses are conducted with your safety and enjoyment in mind, with higher than average staff to student ratios. Our all-inclusive course prices include all necessary learning materials and manuals, your certification cards, and all theory and practical training sessions with our bilingual instructors. Our diverse teaching team can offer courses in English, French, and Spanish.
All of our confined water training is completed in local pools on the island of Montreal, including the Lasalle Aquadome, John Abbott College in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Pointe-Claire and elsewhere in the West Island . We also offer Discover Scuba diving sessions in several local West Island pools throughout the summer months. If you or your organization has a pool, we can also bring our courses to you.
Our open water training takes place in the picturesque and historic Brockville area of the 1000 Islands, less than 2 hours from Montreal, specially chosen to provide you with an interesting and comfortable training environment. This area offers divers of all levels new and old, the opportunity to explore hundreds of shipwrecks, and because it is fed by runoff from the Great Lakes, the St Lawrence River in this area warms up to around 75 degrees Fahrenheit in summer, unlike some of the colder lakes and quarries in the Montreal area.
Or, if you want to combine learning with some adventure, our courses can also be completed on one of our many annual group dive holidays in tropical locations with advance notice.
All of the equipment needed to complete any of our courses is available to rent or buy in our shop. Our staff will help you with the selection process and answer any questions you might have.
We also offer private courses for individuals and groups, tailored to your schedule and needs. Contact us for more details.
